CiderGrown Batch: TASTING NOTES
Madly fruity in the nose, rife with peach, pear, pineapple & more, all over a touch of funk. Notice "fruity" doesn't mean "sweet" - this the dryest of the four. Flavors carry from the aromas, with acid & bitterness framing that fruit-fest, graced by refined astringency, & resolving to a fresh, appetizing finish. 

What's in the can:

1.  This cider reflects the clay soils, unpredictable climate, and westerly exposure of our northern NH orchards; also the dry growing season of 2016.

2. We blended this cider from two fermentations of 2016 bittersweet and acidic apples, each pressed as quickly as possible after harvest: one in mid-October (Major, Somerset Redstreak, Harry Masters Jersey, more); the other in early December (Esopus Spitzenberg, Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, more.) 

3.  Each component fermentation batch of the finished blend matured for 7-9 months, partly in stainless steel, and partly in neutral oak barrels.
